Cashless Hospitalisation Process

Follow these simple steps to avail cashless hospitalisation at Dr. Lankesh Eye Hospital.

Submit a request for pre-authorisation to the Insurance Department.

Hospital Forwards Request

Hospital staff forwards your request to the insurance company for approval.

Receive SMS Approval

Insurance company communicates approval status to you via SMS. Proceed with admission.

In Case of Pending or No Prior Approval

Deposit Required

  • Patient may be required to deposit an amount at admission
  • Amount will be refunded once insurance provider authorises treatment cost

Authorization Not Received

  • If no authorisation within 48 hours and patient is discharged, patient must settle hospital bill
  • Patient can then claim reimbursement directly from insurance provider

Patients admitted without prior approval must initially pay for services and later seek reimbursement from the insurance company.
